☑️ Owner Defaulter – Lien in ParcVu Desktop

Last updated 3 months ago

If an Owner has defaulted on their contractual payments to you, you may be able to place a lien on their Holiday Home. The first step in this process will be to mark the Account as a ‘Defaulter’

You can usually only place a lien on a Holiday Home for site fees - consult your legal advisor before proceeding if you are unsure

From the Pitch of the relevant Owner, select ‘Alter Status’ from the Navigation list on the right.

From the status list displayed, select ‘DF – Owner defaulter’. Click ‘Next’ and ‘Finish’.

The ‘Pitch Details’ screen will now be displayed showing the ‘Pitch status’ as ‘Owner Defaulter’.

If the default situation is resolved, then the Pitch status should be reverted back to ‘Owner’ using the ‘alter Status’ option

If the lien needs to proceed to you taking possession of the Holiday Home, this can be processed as a Buy In at the appropriate time. Ensure you consult your legal advisor before proceeding with completing a lien
