☑️ Add a Touring Area in ParcVu Desktop

To access this area of the system, the User will need the permissions Allow access System Maintenance Menu and Access Maintain Park Structure
In System Maintenance Sub Menu > Maintain Park Structure, new Areas, Zones and Pitches can be created
The Park must be selected in the top right corner for this menu option to be available - if the option is greyed out, ensure you have a Park selected
The ‘Maintain Park structure’ screen will be displayed, click on theon the left of the ‘P’ and all the current ‘Areas’ of the Park will be shown.
Whilst the ‘P’ is highlighted, select ‘Add Area’ from the Navigation list on the right of the screen.
The ‘Edit Area’ field will appear, type the Area ‘Two letter Code’ into the ‘Code’ field, type the Area ‘Name’ into the ‘Description’ field, and select ‘Touring Area’ from the dropdown list in the ‘Area Type’ field. Click ‘OK’ when finished.
The New ‘Area’ will now appear on the Park list on the left-hand side of the screen, click ‘Save’ from the Navigation list on the right and the New ‘Area’ will be recorded on the system
Touring Areas are different to Standard Areas, as these contain Touring Pitches - which will have an associated Booking Product so that Bookings can be made for that pitch
