☑️ Post Customer Not Present (CNP) Card Payment in ParcVu Desktop
Last updated 4 months ago
CNP Card Payment is a payment by Credit/Debit card when the customer is not present, i.e. over the telephone.
ParcVu offers an integration with Opayo to allow CNP Card payments to be processed from within ParcVu, so that payments are allocated directly to the Customer ledger.
To use this function, the user must have the Allow CNP Payments permission. The option will not be displayed if the user does not have the correct permissions
Select ‘Post CNP Card Payment’ from the navigation list

The Card Payment – Customer Not Present Screen will be displayed.
Select invoices to pay, or enter the Payment amount, and confirm with the Customer that the Name, House Number and Postcode match the details held by their bank

To free type a payment amount for Rent and Bookings ledgers, the user will need the Allow Any Payment Amount - Rent and Allow Any Payment Amount - Bookings permission
Once completed, select ‘Make Payment’ from the navigation list on the right of the screen

A successful Payment message will be displayed showing the payment reference number, click ‘OK’

The screen will now display the successful payment.
The Payment amount will now show on the selected Ledger.
