Amend an Existing Ancillary in ParcVu Online

Ancillaries are items you can include in a Holiday Home Sale. You can choose to include them by default and use pre-set pricing, or enable the settings for users to be able to override the pricing. Costs can also be set for the Ancillaries, to enable you to factor them in to your margin (profit) calculations

New Ancillaries can only be created by a ParcVu Developer. To request a new Ancillary, send an email to our Support Team with the following information;

  • Name of the Ancillary

  • VAT Rate

  • Nominal Code (please ensure the Nominal Code exists in System Settings > Maintain Nominal Codes)

Please note, we can’t take these requests over the phone!

To use this functionality, the user will need the Allow System Maintenance Menu user permission

In the System Settings menu, under the Holiday Home Sales menu option, choose Ancillaries

The System Settings menu is searchable in ParcVu Online - save time by finding the setting you’re looking for using a key word!

Ancillaries can be set as standard across all Parks by leaving the dropdown set to ‘Any Park’, or Park-specific configurations can be added by selecting the relevant Park

The current Ancillaries configuration will be displayed

Ancillary will display the name - this is not editable, to request changes you’ll need to raise a request for our developers

Order can be used to set the display order on the SLA

Include By Default can be checked if you want the Ancillary to automatically be included on a sale

Cost (Net) can be added if you want to track sale costs

This is the cost to the business, not what you want to charge the customer in the sale

Allow Override of Cost can be checked if you want to allow users to amend this cost within the sale

Selling Price (Gross) is the price you want to include in the sale

Allow Override of Selling Price can be checked if you want to allow users to amend the price to the customer

Press Save at the top right of the screen once your amendments are complete
