Report 335: Bookings by Accommodation Type

Overview

A financial summary report comparing revenue, unit weeks (days), and tariffs for the current year versus the previous year, grouped by accommodation type.

Best Use Case

  • Product Profitability Analysis: Comparing how different van grades (e.g., Gold vs. Silver) are performing compared to last year.

  • Revenue Forecasting: Analyzing "Revenue Difference" and "Tariff Difference" between years.

Available Filters

  • Parks: Multi-select parks.

  • Date Range: Filters by the date the holiday takes place.

  • Include VAT: Toggle to show figures inclusive or exclusive of VAT.

Key Data Logic

  • Amount Shown: Relates to the total amount of the break (invoiced value).

  • Income Logic: Not pro-rated. The full holiday cost is included if the holiday starts within the date range.

  • Product Source: Looks at the product listed on the booking (specifically "Prime" products).

  • Agent Commission: Included.

  • VAT: Selectable (Included or Excluded).

  • Extras: Excluded. Only sums revenue for "Prime" accommodation/touring products.

  • Owner Bookings: Excluded.

  • Booking Statuses: Includes active bookings but excludes cancelled bookings (Status 9).

  • Assignment: The booking does not need to be assigned.

  • Reporting Period: Not required for execution, but uses standard year-on-year offsets.
