Set Booking Tariff Periods in ParcVu Desktop

The Booking Tariff Periods function in ParcVu Desktop is only available to existing customers who previously signed up for the legacy ParcVu Bookings module. New subscribers will be offered enrolment in the Booking Experts module. Existing customers using legacy Bookings will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to Booking Experts - contact your Account Manager for more information
Booking Tariff Periods are used to define different pricing periods throughout the year. You can define these periods however makes the most sense for your business
For example, for Extras which are the same price all year, you may want a period called “All Year”, but for your Accommodation you may want to use “High Season”, “Low Season”, “Regular Season”, individual weeks, or however else you choose to manage your pricing
To access this function, users will need the Allow Access System Sub Menu user permission
From the Home Screen, go to System Maintenance Sub Menu > Maintain Lookups > Booking Tariff Periods
Booking Tariff Periods need to be set for each ‘Booking Product’ type, i.e. Accommodation, Touring, Extras, Additional Guests and Pets
Click ‘Edit’ and scroll to the bottom of the screen, where a blank line will be added
Description is the name of the period - you can choose to have ‘named’ periods, like ‘High Season’ or ‘Week 1’, or you can choose to give your periods date ranges in the description, like 01/01/26-08/01/26
The actual date ranges that apply to these periods are defined at a Park level per year, in Park Booking Tariff Periods. not as part of the Booking Tariff Period itself. Where possible, we therefore recommend that you use ‘Named’ periods, so that they can be reused every year - reducing your administrative burden!
Product Type defines which Booking Product Type that period applies to
