Report 306a: Booking Income by Unit Type

Overview

A financial performance report that breaks down revenue into four categories (Accommodation, Additional Guests, Extras, and Pets) and compares them against the number of physical units.

Best Use Case

  • Revenue Stream Analysis: Seeing exactly how much your "Extras" or "Pets" are contributing to overall income.

  • Yield per Unit: Calculating the average income generated by each physical unit on the park.

Available Filters

  • Parks: Multi-select parks.

  • Date Range: Filters by the date the holiday takes place.

  • Product Type: Filter by specific categories (e.g., Hire, Touring).

Key Data Logic

  • Amount Shown: Displays revenue broken down into Accom/Tour, Additional Guests, Extras, and Pets.

  • Income Logic: Pro-rated. If a booking overlaps the date range, only the revenue for the days within the range is included.

  • Product Source: Revenue is categorized based on the product listed on the booking, but unit counts are based on physical units.

  • Agent Commission: Included.

  • VAT: Included.

  • Extras: Included and categorized separately (splits out Extras and Pets).

  • Owner Bookings: Excluded.

  • Booking Statuses: Includes confirmed and confirmed online bookings.

  • Assignment: Bookings must be assigned to a physical unit to be grouped by Area and Zone.

  • Reporting Period: Not required.

  • Occupancy Logic: Compares pro-rated booking income against the count of physical units currently on pitches.
