Set Up SUN Settings in ParcVu Desktop

The Sun Imports function in ParcVu Desktop is only available to existing customers who previously signed up for the legacy ParcVu Bookings module. New subscribers will be offered enrolment in the Booking Experts module. Existing customers using legacy Bookings will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to Booking Experts - contact your Account Manager for more information

Enable Sun Import in ParcVu Desktop

To access this function, the user must have the Allow System Maintenance Menu user permission

From the Home Screen, go to System Maintenance Sub Menu > Client Configuration

In the ‘3rd Party Integration’ section, ensure Sun Import Available is set to ‘True’ - if set to ‘False’, choose ‘Edit’ from the navigation menu on the right, amend the setting and then 'Save’

Map the Sun Linen Booking Product in ParcVu Desktop

To access this function, the user must have the Allow System Maintenance Menu user permission

From the Home Screen, go to System Maintenance Sub Menu > Client Configuration

Scroll down the list to the Sun Settings section and select ‘Edit’ from the Navigation list on the right

Use the dropdown list to set the ‘Linen’ Product

This lookup displays the Code of the Booking Products rather than the names - it’s a good idea to go to your Booking Products and make a note of the code for the relevant product before attempting to map the Sun Linen Booking Product

Remember to click ‘Save’ on the navigation menu once mapped
