Overview

A comparative financial report that breaks down revenue by the Booking Source (e.g., Website, Phone, Agent) for the current year versus the previous year.

Best Use Case

  • Marketing Channel Analysis: Determining which booking sources are most effective and how their performance has changed year-on-year.

  • Budgeting: Assessing the growth of direct (e.g., Website) versus indirect (e.g., Agent) channels.

Available Filters

  • Parks: Multi-select parks.

  • Date Range: Filters by when the booking was made.

  • Exclude Different Year: Toggle to exclude holidays taken in a different year than when they were booked.

Key Data Logic

  • Amount Shown: Relates to the total amount of the break (invoiced value).

  • Income Logic: Not pro-rated. The full invoiced value is included.

  • Product Source: Looks at the product on the booking.

  • Agent Commission: Included.

  • VAT: Excluded.

  • Extras: Excluded. Only sums revenue for "Prime" product types.

  • Owner Bookings: Excluded.

  • Booking Statuses: Includes confirmed bookings but excludes cancelled bookings (Status 9).

  • Assignment: The booking does not need to be assigned.

  • Reporting Period: Not required.
