Hoseasons Integration in ParcVu Desktop
Last updated About 3 hours ago
The Hoseasons-related functions in ParcVu Desktop are only available to existing customers who previously signed up for the legacy ParcVu Bookings module. New subscribers will be offered enrolment in the Booking Experts module. Existing customers using legacy Bookings will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to Booking Experts - contact your Account Manager for more information
ParcVu and Hoseasons have a real-time full integration offering a huge advantage over the legacy methods of importing bookings and providing availability to Hoseasons
Bookings made by Hoseasons are automatically created in ParcVu, and any availability changes in ParcVu are automatically passed to Hoseasons, removing the risk of overbooking
The Hoseasons reference is included in the Booking information, in the ‘3rd Party Ref’ field

You cannot amend the product or dates on a Booking made by Hoseasons - any changes will need to be made by Hoseasons and passed in to ParcVu. This is usually managed as a cancellation and rebook from their side
Adding A New Booking Product For Hoseasons Integration
When making a grade available on Hoseasons via the integration, if the setup isn’t done in a specific sequence, then Hoseasons will initially have some issues seeing the availability and pricing
To ensure the process runs smoothly, and get your new grade available for sale as quickly as possible, you should set up new LP codes in the following order
Request the new LP Code from Hoseasons - this is the identifier that they give to a specific grade, you cannot make these up, Hoseasons must provide
Create the Booking Product, then add it to Park Booking Products
Map the LP Code from Hoseasons to the Park Booking Product in System Maintenance Sub Menu > Maintain Lookups > Import Product Mappings
Assign the Booking Product to the relevant unit(s)
Update the Allocations
Set pricing in Booking Tariffs
Refresh cached pricing in Booking Tariffs
It’s important things are done in the right order as the availability sync checks for changes only - so if, for example, the availability for a grade last changed yesterday but I only map my LP code today, then the sync tells Hoseasons “nothing has changed” - to Hoseasons, that means “there is still no availability”!
Pricing only sends changes made in the last 3 days, so if I added my pricing a week ago, and only mapped my LP code today, then the integration will tell Hoseasons “there’s no price changes for this” - to Hoseasons, this means “there’s still no pricing at all for this”!
Working with a Booking Product that already exists, realised you’ve done things in the wrong order, or Hoseasons advise they aren’t seeing pricing or availability?
First, check that the product is correctly set up in ParcVu Desktop with availability and pricing - if you’re able to make a Booking directly in ParcVu, then your setup is correct. If you can’t make a Booking, run back through the normal availability setup checks - allocations, refresh cached pricing, and check for any repairs blocking availability
Once you’ve confirmed the setup is correct, to ensure pricing is received by Hoseasons, from System Maintenance Sub Menu > Maintain Lookups > Import Product Mappings choose ‘Push All Prices to Hoseasons’ and click OK on the message warning it may take a while - this is not a system error and does not need to be reported to ParcVu Support
Contact ParcVu Support and request “Please can you reset the sync flags for LP Code <insert your LP code here>” and we’ll get you back on track!
