Booking Notes in ParcVu Desktop

The Booking Notes function in ParcVu Desktop is only available to existing customers who previously signed up for the legacy ParcVu Bookings module. New subscribers will be offered enrolment in the Booking Experts module. Existing customers using legacy Bookings will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to Booking Experts - contact your Account Manager for more information

Navigate to the Booking Details screen of the required booking. Click on the ‘Notes’ tab along the top of the screen.

The Notes screen will be displayed, any existing Notes will be shown in the list. Select ‘Edit’ from the Navigation list and the ‘Add’ button will be available below the grid at the bottom of the screen.

Click and the Comments pop up screen will be displayed

There are 4 types of Note that can be added, these can be selected by selecting from the drop-down list in the ‘type’ field on the popup screen

‘Booking’ Note

This is used for general booking Notes, this type of Note, sits in the Notes tab on a booking and can be viewed by anyone who accesses the Booking

‘Booking Arrival’ Note

This is used for general booking Notes, this type of Note, sits in the Notes tab on a booking and can be viewed by anyone who accesses the Booking, but also appears on the Booking Arrivals Report (291) for information

‘Booking Adverse’ Note

This is used for recording ‘Adverse Comments’ from the Customer, this type of Note, sits in the Notes tab on a booking and can be viewed by anyone who accesses the Booking, but also appears on the Booking Departures Report (295) for information and use by Housekeeping if appropriate

‘Booking Reassignment’ Note

This is used for recording ‘Booking Reassignment’ reasons and dates, this type of Note sits in the Notes tab on a booking and can be viewed by anyone who accesses the Booking
